Have written in the past why bouncing the flash is more effective than putting a diffuser in front of it. A particularly insistent skeptic finally motivated me to do a side-by-side comparison. As you will know from reading my past entries, I never really saw diffusers as 'competition' because they don't accomplish the same thing as redirecting light. In any case, I took up the challenge, and you can see the results for yourself. Now that I have these other products, I'll eventually do some other comparisons in other settings...
