Flickr photogs are noticing the Lightscoop

I opened an account at Flickr.com and have posted information about the Lightscoop along with some comparison shots. I'm pleased to see the reactions so far. Think about joining Flickr yourself, as I'm considering hosting a contest there — and awarding a free Lightscoop to the ugliest direct flash photo taken with pop-up flashes (on the models the Lightscoops have been designed for)!

We're still holding off on launching Lightscoop.com, though, as there's been yet another delay on the manufacturing end. The pieces have been molded, but the material for the reflector, which has to be added separately, hasn't come in yet. Sorry about the delays, but I'm just not going to accept sales until I KNOW there is something to deliver!

Meanwhile, I continue working on the revision of "Photojournalism: The Professionals' Approach" this summer. It's been interesting to see how much automatic strobe technology has changed/improved since the last edition.

You should definitely hold that contest on Fickr! That would be so much fun! That is where I found out about the Lightscoop! (I'm "olivias mum") I would definitely have some ugly flash photos to enter!
