Proud Prof - Mary Calvert is Photojournalist of the Year

Congratulations to Mary Calvert, who was in one of my first classes at San Francisco State University back in 1986. She took the honor of Photojournalist of the Year in the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) Best of Photojournalism contest this year. Please have a look at her winning portfolio. Makes a prof proud. Mary shoots for the Washington Times.
